Especially the games between the archrivals „Der Club an der Alster“ and the „Uhlenhorster Hockeyclub (HTHC)“ are the highlights of the season and established as „the duel“ in the hockey scene of Hamburg. All three clubs could win the championships already several times in the course of their association history. „Der Club an der Alster“ looks already back on ten titles. 2011 they reach the incredible championship double. The Club is the actual champion on field and in hall.

Hamburg strengthens the national team
Hockey is the most successful german team sport. In the last 40 years the national team of gents collected a remarkable title-collection. Three times the Olympia gold medal, two world championship cups, 12 success at 13 European championships are only a small extract of the successful history and made the team to a international record winner.
Hamburg contributes substantially to the success of the German national team of gents. Oliver Korn, Moritz Fuerste, Tobias Constantin Hauke, Sebastian Biederlack, Carlos Nevado-Gonzales and Philip Witte have one thing in common: They all play for Hamburg hockey clubs and reached the Olympic Gold medal 2008 in Peking. The six guys from Hamburg are ready to defence the title in London this year. We wish them a lot of luck and may the title be taken home!
